About ReGen Hope Initiative

Welcome. We’re so glad you’re here.  ReGen Hope Initiative exists to make our communities a little safer and our country a little more proud every day. We do it by helping justice involved persons to have the mentality and tools they need to re-enter society, hopeful while they work towards becoming successful. People can change. People can be reformed. Re-formed. Literally, to be formed again; to change shape; to be re-made; to become something new. The ReGen Hope Initiative exists for the sole purpose of helping them complete their transformation. And we’d like to think that you believe in that work just as much as we do. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. If you have good news, please don’t hesitate to share. And if you have a desire to help justice-involved persons be productive, please don’t hesitate to give. Now that you know more about The ReGen Hope Initiative, will you join us?

Our Mission

ReGenHope connects at risk-risk youth and justice involved individuals with resources they need while empowering them to lead constructive, fulfilling and responsible lives.

Our Vision

To harness the power of second chances, fueled by hope and grounded in transformational change.

Our Guiding Principles

We believe that…
  • formerly incarcerated men and women deserve a second chance free from the barriers that have so often stood in the way of their successful reentry.
  • justice-involved individuals can and will transform their lives when given the benefit of healthy relationships and marketable skills; wraparound service support and favorable public policy.
  • the cycle of incarceration is beyond a “corrections problem;” it is a community problem, which requires collaborative, comprehensive and culturally appropriate solutions that meet the needs of justice involved individuals “where they are.”
  • the best way to “break the cycle” is to engage whole communities in delivering a positive reentry experience for returning citizens and their families.
If our work only helped one person, it would be worth every penny and every second. Thankfully, it helps a lot more than that. See How Our Work Makes a Difference >
